La Maison du Jardin is situated in our lovely country garden in the  small quiet farming hamlet of Le Grand Jaugé just outside the village of Valanjou in the gentle countryside of the Layon valley
dotted with  pretty villages and vineyards.

Perfect for two, the  house  has a pretty font garden with a table and chairs  where you can sit in privacy and dine al fresco or just relax and read ……..with a glass of wine of course!
At the back of the house there is a large grassy area surrounded by natural hedgerow and the drive leading up to the back door for easy unloading and safe parking.

A quince tree blossoms and fruits every year, while the very old  pear tree is the perfect lookout for  little owls.
Woodpeckers, tree creepers  and even hoopoes can be seen early in the morning.
Vines on the front of the house hang heavy  with grapes.
