Our now lovely country garden was once a forgotten field.
After masses of work, we have created flower borders that are full of colour and a good variety of herbatious plants.
We have planted lots of shrubs, vines, clematis and roses.
Bean trees were chosen for their fast growth and shade.
The gravel garden is now well established with yuccas, lavender, iris, ceonothis, euphorbias, hibiscus, ect.
We don’t fight mother nature too much; the boundry hedge is mostly damson, blackthorn, hawthorn, wild roses, honeysuckle and brambles, host to masses of birds.
Butterflies, fantastic moths and honey bees endlessly visit the garden.
Our potagé is very productive keeping us going with salad, herbs and shallots (all important when cooking moules), tomatoes, courgettes, chard, garlic and squash.
as plants can now cross the channel
why not bring a plant to swap.
Our soil is neutral
