The small town of Thouarcé is approx 9km with a small open market   on Tuesday mornings and a Super-U  supermarket with petrol.
There are two banks, boulanger, florist, bar-tabac and good restaurant - Le Cheval Blanc. And a super new indoor swimming pool.

Vihiers is slightly larger and is 10km. Market day is Wednesday.    There are several restaurants and bars (‘Aux Délices Partagés’ is recommended for it’s cuisine), post office, large Super-U supermarket, banks, optician, pharmacies, open-air swimming pool, and riding school.
There is a very nice pic-nic area with plenty of shade, parking.  and lots of local fishing activity.

12km west is Chemillé known for its herb garden and medicinal plants with a large street market on Thursdays selling local produce, clothes, etc.  There are cafés, bars, banks, supermarkets (Hyper-U being the largest), a huge new theatre with restaurant and another brand new swimming pool!  There is a pizzeria and a good Routier.
